We are very advanced along with other Asians here. Chinese,
Japanese, Koreans, Hindus and even non-Asians like the Whites
and Blacks and Latinos.
We even had one Congressman candidate. Nowhere else in the country
has there been such a high-level Congressional candidate like our
Blong Xiong.
We are so great that VP decided to die and be buried here.
The first Hmong judge in this country is from here. Newsom appointed
Paul Lo for that.
Wisconsin and Minnesota quickly followed by running for judge elections after
that.
But I think you are wrong. You see only what your mother tells you and you
take that as overall Hmong history. Not so. Wisconsin people are just as business-minded as
Californians are. Look at those grocery stores and restaurants run by
Hmong from LaCrosse to Eau Claire and Milwaukee.

Most Hmongs in California has fully assimilated to American Life...lol j.k I think many come to realize, better to keep distances now, because back then, the only crimes Hmong people really committed was adultery, stealing someone's chickens, and fighting....No w we got Hmong folks committing a lot more serious crimes....and everyone just kind of know to keep distances if they don't know you....LOL
The Hmong in the Midwest and east Coast, I heard they still got that 90's Hmong vibe...Go to places, and they still asked you if "you're Hmong, which clan, father's name " etc...LOL

Hmong are just like any other race... there are business minded individuals, system sucking individuals, driven individuals, lazy individual, MAGA, Woke, Leftie/Demmie, etc etc
To say that one region is better than the other is just ignorance... I remember back in the 80s, Hmong owned and ran restaurants and groceries in Michigan.
