They’re probably thinking there are criminals everywhere in DC but the data actually shows that violent crime has been dropping and now it’s even lower than pre COVID years.
Check with the metropolitan Police dept if you don’t believe it.

Let me correct you.
The only criminals are the Democrats who are taxing us to death to pay for fraudulent medicare/medicaid and public services.
I stopped respecting healthcare workers and the medical profession years ago. They don't know any more than the average joe. I'll see them when I have a broken bone or cancer. Until then, all scams.
Your RN wife - if she exists - should know how much of a scam medicine practice has become. It has become nothing more than drug pushers for the pharmaceutical companies. Doctors - if you even get to see one, usually an RN only or a PA - aren't interested in treating or even letting patients know the cause of their ailments. It's all about "you feel pain in you ear, eh? Well let me prescribe you [insert drug]."
And all this after they check you out for a total of 3 minutes, though you've been in the waiting room for 45 minutes.
$30-50 copay
$700 bill if you don't have insurance
All literal BS.
AND LET'S NOT FORGET HOW THE FIRST THING THEY BRING UP IF YOU HAVE KIDS IS:
"I show that Tommy isn't up to date on his vaccination. Today we can give him 6 shots."

Diabetes mellitus due to underlying condition
they have a code for every diease and stuff out there
now here comes the bad part
the hospital just make up a price
so E08.43 might be like $800 or $2000, maybe even $5000
the point is
they are just making up randomly price stuff

Crime spiked in 2023... not sure what happened that year in DC but was down from 2023 to 2024 year-end data show. However, again... we're half way through 2025 and crimes (every category) is already way too high.
