Study finds night owls have "superior cognitive function"
A recent study from Imperial College London found that night owls have superior cognitive function compared to morning risers. The research, published in the journal BMJ Public Health, analyzed data from the UK Biobank, which includes information from over half a million participants. The study found that individuals who are naturally inclined to stay up late and sleep in later have higher cognitive scores than those who prefer to wake up early. The findings suggest that aligning sleep habits with one's chronotype may optimize cognitive performance.
