Yep, ended up picking up one but it wasn't the one the sales guy initially called me about... ;D

Back story...
Brought my wife's car in for a check up a while back. Talked to the salesman and manager that sold the Leaf to my wife. I told them that my Tacoma is approaching 250k miles so I think I should semi-retire it and only use it for off-road outings, transporting big stuff, and towing. I'm thinking about getting a second car that's more fuel efficient for my daily commute, grocery runs, etc. They remembered so they called me about their Black Friday specials and said since we are recent repeat customers, they can even give us a better deal.
We stopped by and looked at the two models they mentioned, the Sentra and Versa. The Versa is a bit too small so I moved on to the Sentra. Almost bought the Sentra but saw the Kicks. The Kicks is not brand new but it's a 2025 model with only 3k miles so I opted for it instead because it cost a few grands less and still has almost all of it's warranty. It'll serve my purpose just fine as my daily commute vehicle.
Some final checkups at the service area:

Everything checked out at service so my wife drove it off the lot as I followed:

Only 3k miles so the undercarriage is still fairly clean...and with a combined 32MPG, it's doubles my Tacoma's combined average...

Just the base model with steelies and cap but it fits my purpose perfectly as I just want a cheap dependable daily...

Am little surprised it came with wheel locks but then again, things are getting more and more expensive including tires so makes sense:

Nice! Does it at least have the adaptive cruise control seeing as it’s a base model? That would definitely help with any commute.
-
No adaptive cruise control for the S trim, just their standard ICC. The SR trim does come with it.
-
No power seat adjustments, just the basic manual levers like on my aging Taco. The plus side of that is less things to breakdown...:

I like that it still has these button as some new cars don't even have it anymore:

Like I've said, just the basic CC but I hardly ever use CC so doesn't matter much to me:

Nice ride. I'm looking for another car too. I might go the used route like you
2023 kick 130k miles for $11k - high mileage but just in case my toy car the stang is in the shop.
Just looking only. Not committed on anything yet.
