Title: When God's calling, do you still let it go?
Post by: theking on April 29, 2026, 10:48:20 PM
God's calling, but man lets it go to voicemail
I'm 43, and I have been married and divorced three times. I have three adult children and a 13-year-old. My last divorce was final a few weeks ago. I was sure she was The One. Now she wants to give us nine months and see if we are going to reconcile.

I am confused. Years ago, before I married the first time, I thought I was called to be a Catholic priest, but I didn't listen. A couple of months ago, a good friend who is a priest gave a homily: "Have we ignored God's call for us in our lives?" I feel I have done just that.

My third ex-wife wants me to wait to see what will come of us. I honestly know the right answer. But, at the same time, I want to do what I want, not what God wants me to do. I know the way He wants me to go, but I still want to do things my way. Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.

This man just hasn't found the love of his life.

God warned him not to buy love...but he did...and well, many women will be willing to sell themselves if the price is right. Then it's eaither him leaving once he gets what he wanted, or she leaves once she stole half if not more of his wealth...lol

Some people are just not meant to be with another...

I will accept that

Some people are meant to be God's gift to others...hmmm. ..I should've accepted that  :D
