It's swimming season so time to clean/change the filters. Just did my pool's filter recently...
Tools for the job and I will show you why an UNO card played an important role:

First step, turn off the power or switch your pool pump and filter system to service mode and then relieve the pressure to drain the water. After the water is drained, open up the housing:

Pull out the dirty or old filters to clean or replace it:

New vs. old:

Install the new filters after cleaning the housing:

Apply a thin layer of grease to the O-rings to prolong it...

Here's why the UNO card is important. Once it's all closed up, you don't want the tensioner to be too tight or too loose that an UNO card can pass through...so find a happy medium using an UNO card..

Turn the system back on and wait until the there's enough pressure to push the water out before closing the pressure valve..

Double check the pressure after a few minutes...to ensure there's no air or leakage in the system.

Once all is good, reprogram the pump...
