Title: TAKING CARE OF YOUR AGING HMONG PARENTS….. duty of the youngest son
Post by: hmgROCK on August 12, 2026, 01:51:02 PM
in the hmong culture
it’s the youngest son responsibility to take care of the parents

here in the USA
people just don’t follow that tradition anymore
and its whoever loves and care more

my folks can’t drive and leave the house no more
only to medical appointments and small family gatherings (no long distance)

i install video cameras in their own home
so i can watch them on my phone

don’t want them fall and not able to get up

Your live in their basement for goodness sake, and have been leeching off them "since the beginning of time"...

Couldn't you just help them if they fall?

How "LAZY" and selfish are you??

I mean they are your parents afterall...WHA T A DOUCHE!!!
