Loneliness can be a state of mind. You can be surrounded by people all around you and yet feel lonely OR you can be alone and not feel lonely. Something like that.

I don't know but someone once told me that, when we dream...it actually is real events but in a different dimension..hah a j/k in my younger years...i often would wake up getting that "out of body" sensation....s o i think we're all lone travelers in some sort..haha

... I just enjoy being able to pick up and go whenever and wherever. I'm a spontaneous person, ...
Sometimes my wife and I just fuel up, pick a direction and go without really any planning ahead of time..we call those our impromptu trips...I'm fortunate that my wife is a light packer and quick on her feet...
I remembered when arrived to Bora Bora, the hotel shuttle driver was shocked that we only have one carry-on and one backpack...con sidering we're from America and all... ;D

change of plans folks...my long lost half brother from france will be visiting Ameliska during the HNY runs. so no road trips till sometime novermber-ish and december-ish....meanwhile, i'll need to look for a comfortable lightweight bullet proof vest, and brush up on some ass kicking skills in case shits start to drop from the skies...lols j/k

I can't travel alone, at least driving. I get tire.
-
There's nothing to see in Ameliska. You should visit him in France --at least you'll be able to country hop.
My buddy and his wife just did that not long ago...haha He recommended if you can just go for two weeks at most, take it..versus the three week tour, or package...Afte r about a week and half, you get America=Sick..Home sick...I hear that a lot from various people...or at least Americans...lo ls But i definitely one dya will have to visit Europe.

I don't know but being out in the open road feels like I'm free from my burdens and free to think of whatever things that comes to mind. Of course, my attention to the road is still a priority. I don't get absorbed into my own thoughts, always paying attention to the road. As for long distance, I do for adventure and besides I prefer that the trip be dictated by myself rather than other people whom may or may not share the cost of travel with me. Because everyone has their own destination that they want to see or experience.
