We normally just deep fried that bugs and insects we ate in Laos.. crunchy protein for the most part.

Looks crunchy and creamy. It reminds me of the time I watched a video where a Cambodian woman deep-fried tarantulas and devoured it down. Such an intense sight, one that sticks in your mind long after witnessing it.

Spiders are in short supplies in Cambodia nowadays and are very expensive at the stores.

I'll go catch my own when I go there.

Cow, goats, sheep and chicken are herbivores too... so, I'm eating healthy and a Vegan too.
Calories is what make people FAT... eat a diet high in protein (from meat) and low in calories... keep you slim and in shape.

Yes, a lot of these livestocks are fed with chemicals, etc etc. That's why you get those grass fed livestock. It can ge said about bugs too if it becomes more in demand. Growers will use chemical to increased their size and get them to market quicker...

Sure. I prefer catching my own in the wild.

True... these Westerners (activists) truly believed that Asian and African eat bugs, rats and all sort of critters because they enjoyed them and they care about the environment. It's because of necessity - nothing else. They have a saying... in Asia, people eat not to starve... in western country, people eat to filled.

Bugs are better that those chicken thighs and drumsticks from chemical plants and
hormoned breeding coups.

The World Health Organization (WHO) advised a few years ago that people
should eat bugs to be healthy. Bugs are some of the most healthful
diets around.

If you look at it, it's true. Many bugs are herbivores or vegans. They
don't contain fats and come with high calories.

I have access to a local Karen grocery store that sells palm tree
grubs or weevils. I buy them now and then and
cook them up. The other day I was tempted to buy
some crickets. But they were cooked with wings on, so
I decided to think more about that first.

I know two Ph.D. doctors who had unique and unusual specialties, too, and they've found
jobs.

One did his Ph.D. in mushrooms. The other in deer hunting.

They lived happily because they were doctors and could
take jobs as administrators, managers, etc.

I know you are limited. But when the world
says give Palestine sovereignty, we are not
saying get rid of Israel. We are saying let Palestine
be its own country while Israel stays as its own country.
In short, two countries side-by-side.

Perfection isn't what people should look for. Or else we would have to turn to those angels
in Heaven for spouses. But we are on this physical Earth. We aren't perfect. Nor anyone
we may see around us. Let's not expect perfection in our other persons.
