Where are the single people 30+ at? How does one find a single hmong guy/girl this day and age? It's so hard now a day. Even new years are not helping bc most ppl there are either kids or OGs only. 😔

Try the bookstores or library. I doubt Hmong guys go there but its worth a try... lol

Debate Central / Re: Why anti government? The Facebook story.....
« on: September 13, 2018, 03:36:10 PM »
I loved my life way better when I had no phone and no way of connecting to social media. I think people have become less human by having no human interaction and constantly having to communicate with word text. I have my Facebook to connect with other people bc it seem like nowadays we all have to deal business that way...or else fall behind. I love YouTube though lol

Debate Central / Re: How about this gun law?

Legal for you to buy while with a clean record but once you get a felony, the feds come knocking on your door to confiscate all the guns that you own.

Yeh or neh?

They have been confiscating guns ever since who knows when. Only those who had their home raided by the FEDS would know...Lol

There’s a kind of order in life. A type of law, that if followed; falls into place. That’s what kite flying have taught me…

This is nothing more than a hysterical neo-feminist's distortion of men, a patriarchal-leaning society, and a conservative one at that. Not surprised at all why it's popular since our society has been indoctrinated by socialists under the guise of education. The irony is that feminists and progressivism is what leads to "The Handmaid's Tale" with all their rules regarding micro-aggressions, sexism, hate speech, and every other made-up, embellished -isms they can dream up.

I haven't watched the show since I last posted this but  I recently fell in love with these weird dystopian futuristic/scifi shows. I thought its metaphorically similar to what we are experiencing in US in a way but then I really have no clue to what's happening in the world today lol

I've read the book but haven't seen the tv show. The SNL parody was pretty funny though...

The book have been on my TBR list for some time now. The summer went by and I didn't get the chance to read much so hoping I get to it soon or by next summer lol

The Bible.

However, I highly recommend that they listen to the dramatized audiobook versions.

You can't be serious! lol

Anyways, I went to a bible study a week ago and the pastor told me that those who does not speak tongue have not received the holy ghost and will not go to heaven. I was like, "what? ok..." of course, I asked how I can achieve that and he told me that it all depends...not everyone can speak it.

I guess it can be motivational and life changing depending on how you look at it. Thanks for the recommendation :D

Food Forum / Re: Favorite Cooking/Food Channel on YouTube?
« on: August 15, 2018, 09:00:53 PM »
I found these random cooking/food/eating channels that for some reason I just can't stop watching.

This very old lady shows us what they cooked during the Great Depression:

A Korean channel called "Wife's Cuisine" (LOLOL--sorry, it just sounds so old fashioned) with some very nice Korean dishes.
https://youtu.be/ep8X1KvuUQs

This one was completely random and I dunno why but I watched through the whole video. It was fascinating and I really liked the guy's way of talking. "Nice!" hehe. He opens up army rations and reviews them. This Hungarian one was interesting.

Andddddddddddd I've been obsessed with videos of this Japanese dish called Tamago Kake Gohan which is just raw eggs over rice. I like watching them crack the eggs and mix them in the rice. Weird of me, I know, but it's fascinating.

Lol I saw a episode of depression recipes on emmy in japan and always wanted to try making poor people food. Anyways, that last video of the egg/rice thing is so gross lol but yea, fascinating at the same time. Thanks for sharing them..

College Life / College Debts
« on: July 15, 2018, 03:14:07 PM »
One of my professor owes 200k in college debt. When she asked me if I will continue my education, I confidently told her "No!" She was mortified by my answer.  She lectured me a little and made it seemed like my education was important and that every penny spent on it was worth it. All I see is a huge debt hovering over my head. Besides that, I don’t understand why I am taking classes that has nothing to do with what I’m majoring in...! Should I take college more seriously? Should I not worry too much about having debts to pay later in life?

Books & Magazines / A Life Changing Book?

If you can give one book to a group of high school students to read in the hope that it will change their life, what will the book be? And why?
