These emotions aren't current but like a scar, it may heal, you may not see or feel it anymore, it will still be there. Maybe years from now I can come back and read my poems and laugh about how corny and depressed I was.

I know what you mean. I used to write a lot more dark poems as well. Time will mend and I'm sure you have heard that life does go on.

That's wonderful. I like what he's doing. I did the same when I was younger, always write about my parents and what happened in Laos and camp. Great for him!

Yes, it really depends on what you're into.
I like the outdoor so the hiking trails, Indian reservations. Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helen. The Puget sound island. Space needle. Bruce and Brandon Lee grave site.
