esp Hmong people. Not trying to pick a fight. Just curious.

Depends. Without stereotyping what makes one a Democrat and one a Republican in today's World? It's not so cut and dry as one would think.

And as far as answering your question, I've experienced Hmong Republicans do some despicable things in the name of the Church or God. Less so with those who identify as Democrat.

My question to you is if you are a Republican, despite having similar value as many Democrat, why identify as a Republican? The old Christian-Conservatism dogma doesn't exist any more.

Food for thought;

If you had to make a choice that did not benefit you immediately, directly or even at all, would you make that choice? If you understood all others but yourself would be, say positively impacted, would you make that selfless decision?

you still own me that $20, from that packer division bet last year
still haven't pay... don't think i forgotton
don't go against the hmong nostradamus if you don't want to pay out

that being said,
she already gotten vaccine cuz healthcare worker
my wife say they not vaccinating like they should be doing to other people
just storing
HEY DON"T SHOOT THE MESSENGER

You reneged and honestly I don't respect any of your wagers. You'd give Trump a run for his money for all your lies and backpedaling.

But in all honesty, if your girl was an RN and needed her vaccination, lmk. Places are receiving their allotment in town and she should really go get hers. My s/o and her workplace received theirs and I'm urging her to opt in and get vaccinated.

I don't blame Tou Thao, he's just in the wrong place, wrong time, with wrong co-workers.  In these situations, when there are too many co-worker defusing the suspect already, your job is to secure the premises and make sure there is no other danger around.  His co-worker F up and because he's at the scene he's getting toast for it.  Not to mention Tou is under rank.  All my years of working, I have never seen anybody under rank telling an senior worker what to do and take charge.  Same situation happen in one of my jobs back in the days.  A new Hmong worker got fired because he was working with some bad senior co-worker.  They F up, he didn't but he got fired with the bunch because he was at the wrong time with the wrong co-worker.  Sad.

Good point. Consider it karma if you believe he was an LEO at Harding (Henry?) and used to give kids their a hard time for nothing.

Trump already issued a statement along the lines of "Everybody go home... and watch me on OAN. Because I'm president."

We ALL know what HL's idea of perfect health is  ::) :P

Have to be orange, stand like a gazelle and tiptoe like a sissy due to bone spurs.

Waiting for the badgeless cops, more teargas and shooting of the protestors. At this point they're criminals and should be treated like such.

My wife, who is a registered nurse, say they ainít even giving out any covid shot
But just keeping it in the freezer and storing them

WTF!!!!

Why ainít they giving it out to the people???

Sheesh donít make any sense

Not just another Hmongstradamus fib right? Because I have second hand knowledge that some front line workers are already getting their 2nd vaccine shot. And some non front line workers have already been given the option to receive or reject the vaccine. Could be you're speaking in hyperboles? I don't want to name drop but I have acquaintances in the health industry and I could ask around if you tell me what hospital or system she works in?

I'm open to assisting you if she wants a shot.

Festival Foods has a sale on their "premium" beef. 10oz and 14-16oz. Marbling isn't half bad. Price ranges from $8-$16.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 ESV
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Matthew 24:11 ESV
And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.

Matthew 7:15 ESV
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

General Discussion / Re: Side Hustles
« on: December 21, 2020, 01:53:28 PM »
Any of you guys have any side hustles you can share?? The market's been really good to me this year, but I am trying to up my savings rate, need to get out of the 9-5 rat race asap.

Things I am doing already:
Rental Income

Things I am thinking about:
Uber/Lyft on the weekends? Anyone currently doing this?
AirBNB? Anyone trying this with their house?

Thank you.

I see and know people making good scratch off FB. It all depends on your time ROI. If you're crafty you can try your hand at selling homemade goods. Stay away from cheap Chinese jewelry though. And any foods requires licenses although FB doesn't always enforce it.

Good luck.

How's it compared to traditional cooking methods? I've always wondered what the texture would be like as it's indirect vs direct heat.
