Hope without faith is dead, I think.

the world has been going on for centuries with plenty of people living their lives in the absence of hope.  O0

With the change in weather, it’s nice to be able to walk/jog outside.   8)

invite me next time you go out jogging

Having a faith leads to hope and hope is a good thing.  Without hope, you give up and we know what happens when people give up on things/life.
a person doesn't need faith to have hope. ignorance is bliss, that's why people live longer cause they don't know what the world is like and live in their bubble, that's religion.

General Discussion / Re: Never thought I'd see this at a Target.

Scrolling along the toys and board games section for stuff to play with my nieces.  And I see a Stranger Things themed board game.  I look closer.
And it's a Ouija Board.

>.>  Had to do a double take cause I only expect to see that kind of stuff at Spencers.   Why would you sell a ouija board at Target, and why is it next to the kids toy aisle?
It may not be like the popularized one, but it's still a Ouija Board.. And I'm not playing with it either.
have you ever played with it? you do realize it's a game right?  :idiot2: i played with it as a kid all the time. i can only hope that people like you learn to educate yourself and stop this ignorance to humanity

here's proof/debunking

Because it's a game.

- Lets try our best to have a civil conversation.

How would the Hmong community respond if these were Hmong people getting shot and killed by the police?

If it was a Hmong person, The Hmong community would be up in arms, protesting and whatnot as well. Students would be skipping class to join the protest/rally.  And people would be screaming Hmoob Hlub Hmoob.

And before anyone wants to use the same old bs excuse that "they should've listened to the cops" "they should've put their hands up" etc. crap.  In some instances, sure they could be complying.  But in some instances, even when people have their hands up and are obeying the cops, they still get shot.
why does he have to be hmong? the hmong comminity should be responding now.

if you have a certain someone close to you passed away and you see things (good things) out of the ordinary, do you take that as a sign from beyond the grave?  or do you think nothing of it?  yeah, it's only Thursday.

Use your science n tell us if I'm mad, sad or glad right now.

Yeah, that's what I thought
don't need science to tell that you're mad cause you keep coming back in here crying and unable to prove that god exist  :2funny: :idiot2:

shaman is like other religions. a hoax, like christians.  :idiot2:

A jury has been seated in the trial of a Pennsylvania couple whose 2-year-old daughter died after they tried to treat her pneumonia with prayer and religious oils.

Now that you explained it, the reason why you are mad is clear. You're mad because eventhough you know that the star is that far, you refused to accept it because it shows you that what you believed in was wrong. Lying to yourself will just make it worse.
he doesn't understand science nor can he prove that god exist. i asked him to and he keeps running around the question like a chicken with his head cut off. :2funny: :idiot2:

Faith & Beliefs / Re: Was Jesus really the descendant of Abraham?
« on: March 23, 2018, 02:12:44 PM »
In the bible you come across many characters questioning God, asking God to refute this or that... so I'm not going to since God already refute them.  They just have to read the bible from beginning to end AND I don't have the power to do the "seeing is believing" proof that people want/looking for.

For Christians, it's not their job to force their beliefs onto others but it is their job to share the message and people can decide for themselves.  God gives people this choice to accept or decline otherwise if he made the choice for us, we'll be nothing more than robots since the choice was not of our own choosing/free will.  Still, God will do what he sets out to do whether a person listens or not.
since the bible is written and made up by man it can be refuted. you failed to refute all the inaccuracies in it cause you know you can't.

then why do so many christains  force their beliefs on others and their own children? telling someone they are going to hell for not believing is wrong. it's child abuse and it's wrong. example.

Whatever the truth or falsehood of the original report of the ban itself, there is something in that quotation that should leap out and hit you in the face. “Their” beliefs? The “beliefs” of four-year-old children? Did it not occur to this spokesperson that children who are too young to realize the importance of “their” beliefs might also be too young to possess those same beliefs in the first place? How can the “beliefs” of a four-year-old child be “important” to her if she doesn’t even know what her beliefs are?

i always give you examples but you always refuse to answer them. typical christian mentality though  :2funny: :idiot2:

Reporter- ex boyfriend. Never married.

Hahahabahaha for a small fee? How much is it to get the ex off the title? Lol
k, did you both leave the relationship in such a horrible way that you can't just ask him to sign it and be done with it? people always be making a mtn out of a ant hill.

Thanks and hopefully she will change but i doubt she will ever change of who she is. all of us kids are pushing her away even my dad because he can't stand her complaining and nagging. Also my brother moving out so it easier for him once he married.
it's good that your brother is moving out. it will not only teach him responsibility but he is allowed to make his own decisions.  O0
