What kind of computer speakers do you have?  And how much does it cost?

I want to get a good sounding but cheap system hooked up.  Any suggestions?

How much to spend? I own a pair of AudioEngine A5's attached to a Sound Blaster Titanium HD card. I wouldn't get too hung up on it. It all sounds the same and most of the time you won't be taking full advantage of the hardware.

I have mine hooked up to a home theatre system, (basic receiver, speakers and a powered sub), all you need is the adaptor for a standard headphone jack to rca cable to work.

Spent about $200 total from local pawn shop for the Yamaha receiver and 200watt powered sub. Speakers I use are some bose that I got free from a friend. Nothing special, good bass. Great for games or movies since my computer is hooked up to my 40" flat screen.

I would recommend Logitech Z-2300 speakers.  They are 2.1, sounds  fantastic and runs for around $100.  I love my set when I still had it.  I wouldn't mind picking up another set in a heart beat.  Been through a lot of computer speakers these sound much better than those costing twice as much.

I've got Creative.  They're normally $150 but I got them for $100.  They've been awesome.
