The sickness of polticians and celebs...
« on: May 26, 2022, 11:14:44 AM »
Trying to use tragedy to push their politicial agenda...

Beto O told to STFU and told Sick SOB in his face trying to use the TX tragedy to advance his political career...

Obama informed his sheep that they must remember George Floyd's death while grieving the children murdered in TX.

Now, the Lefties/Demmies will use this tragedy to push for federal gun control measure. We all know this does not work... Now, some of you will put up statistics that says highest strictest gun laws result in lowest gun related death - but we're talking about gun death, which include accidental, suicide and homicide. If you only look at murder by guns... highest gun murder rate is in CA which has the strictest gun law in the US in 2020.

We have celebs crying about loss of lives and want fed gun control... remember, these are the same people that are pushing for abortion right.  One is consider murder because guns are involved, the other is 'women's right'.

It's hard to take Hollywood seriously when they're the ones who glorify guns and thug life on the big screen. This weekend when I went to view "Top Gun: Maverick" at the theater, just about every movie trailer showed guns blazing away. For example, there was a clip where Brad Pitt did some fancy moves with a gun.

The more important question to ask is, "WOULD MORE GUN CONTROL LAWS PREVENT ALEC BALDWIN FROM SHOOTING AND KILLING HIS CINEMATOGRAPHE R ON A MOVIE SET?"

The world will always have evil people and anti-gun activists who still end up killing someone with a prop gun anyways.

If anti-gun activists want to take away guns from responsible civilians then they should do more to provide security for said responsible civilians. - That obviously never happened at these mass shooting sites.

I've seen age restritions, mental health treatments, more guns on the streets or in schools, limitations to guns in many ways--none seems effective.

Who is to say a trusted teacher or psychologist won't do mass shooting?

Who is to say the very cops we want to protect the schools won't open-fire on the students?

Who is to say someone won't wait till they are 21 to take up what has angered them five or six years before and then engage in a mass shooting? Does age 21
make drinkers less drunk or addicted?

Who is to say even the criminals who can't buy guns won't be able to steal guns to do mass shootings?

Etc.

This isn't an easy issue to deal with. I can see why politicians are struggling one shooting after another shooting.

Exactly.

I'm not sure one solution is the cure all for these horrific acts. It will take a combination of things, such as: security, gun control laws, a change in culture, etc.

I don't see the point in getting the country revved up and divided. That only makes matters worse.
