North Carolina Looks to Remove Public EV Chargers, Probably to the Trash. A bill currently in the works in the North Carolina legislature would allocate $50,000 to get rid of free public EV chargers unless free gas pumps are built alongside.

I'll support that... why are non-EV drivers paying (taxes) for these free EV charging stations?

I would not mind if EV owners pay increased taxes for these EV station, e.g. if you own an EV, you pay $100/mnth in taxes for these free station. I mean, that's cheap compare to a gas vehicles...
