The Veteran's bill... why it's so controversial?
« on: August 03, 2022, 03:33:39 PM »
Some GOP was delaying the vote... Why?

The Lefties/Demmies and their MSM attacking GOP for not wanting to help veterans... Why?

I'll tell you the reasons and you figured it out.

The bill was stalled because one GOP, Toomey, wanted to have a vote on his amendment to the bill...
Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania had been one of the Republicans holding up the bill as he demanded a vote on his amendment to add spending guardrails to ensure some of the massive package costing $280 billion over 10 years could not be spent on "completely unrelated programs." - NBC News

The Lefties/Demmies and their MSM then put out a campaign condemning GOP for nto caring about veterans and their health.

So, why are the Lefties/Demmies polticians so against an amendment to the bill to make sure that funds be used only to what it's meant to be used for?
Why is Scheming Schumer not allowing the amendment to be voted on before deciding to vote for this massive bill? Isn't this the same deal with the Obamacare, vote for it and find out what's in it later?
