I fear for families going to ruined by this. Asian and gamblers I'm telling you. It is like it is in their blood or something. In the movies, the god of gambler is chow yung fat.
Then again, it also create jobs opportunity but still, I haven't met a casino worker who doesn't gamble. It is like they work in a casino, just to give that money back to a different casino. The viscous cycle has no end.
I have a positive story to tell because I used to work in that industry. I got out young because I could not take the type of stuff I've been seeing. So when poker was rather new back in the hay days. This viet guy, my former boss just so happens to have 40K in his pocket and was playing high limit poker with the casino owner. This owner guy lots a lot of money and so he made a proposal to the viet guy. Loan me 40k and I will give you 20% of my company. No brainer right? This casino so happens to make about 1 mil a month in revenue. 20% if 200K already. He still works there till this day as a pitt boss but he drives fancy cars when he's going to work. Guy has tons of money but I wouldn't want to be that guy though. You see, he married a viet woman. They got divorced and she took half. She ended up marrying to another chump and the nerves of her to come into his casino, with the husband while he's working there. In the casino industry, they don't care who you are. As long as you have the money to spend, they will welcome you. So sour ex brings new lhusband to rub it into the old husband face. Viet boss guy don't care. He got the money and that is all that matters to him.
The casino owner flys into the usa about 2x a year for meetings. He is in Vietnam, living in his mansion and has about 12 young viet girls that he is grooming for sex. Like a playboy tycoon boss status. The people in the USA makes the money and would ship the money to him so he can spend it over there. This is where my former viet boss comes in. For 20% cut, he also manages the whole casino and operations. This casino owner guy has that me love you long time look to him. Old white man, lusting over asian. At his casino, he told my former viet boss to hire only pretty young asian women. Under table money? You betcha. A few times, around 3am in the morning when the crowds are less, you can see the mayor of the city goes there to play poker. A few times, I saw marshawn lynch mom there with her young boyfriend and bodyguard. Mike tyson and the spanos (former charger's owner?) came there for a visit to eat at their fancy restaurant that has fine congac that is worth $750 a shot.
The old white general manager would often takes his young card dealers to his office and have sex with them for raises and promotions. We only know because our IT guy would go into his computer and saw pictures of these same workers, spreading their butterfly for selfies. We guys be joking that it is a good thing we are guys otherwise, we would of been next.
