Until you have it, you don't really understand the magnitude of sustaining that wealth. This includes the ability to replace money as it gets spent.

To have true wealth is the ability to hold onto it. It's so easy to lose it all whether it's because you overspend, made bad investments, or fell upon a situation where you had to fork over a large chunk of your savings.

Once you're able to successfully make money in your sleep and more importantly, make money as money also goes out the door, the next challenge is how this wealth is going to stay in your family long after you're gone. Again, it is very easy for the descendants to squander it all.

Some rich people--in fact, most--have extra to leave behind.

But they don't leave everything to their children or grandkids because
those descendants will have two issues: 1. squander, and 2.  will become
lazy without knowing the value of life or hard work.

Then the givers also feel they had better give their funds to some
charities because no descendant will do that or will remember them
for eternity like the name on a charity list would be.

INTC has bad leadership yet you think it’s worth investing? Ok, you need to shut it from now on. If a corporation has bad leadership, need to restructure and layoff otherwise it will not get better. What will that do to the stock, it will likely go down.
