Personally, I don't find it offensive for people to dine on cats and dogs. However, that isn't American culture so it must go.

Just like I think it's pretty cool to window shop street vendors in countries where that is common. But I don't want to see that on my street in America, especially since I live in the burbs. I complained about the emergence of musical panhandlers in the parking lot of strip malls.
