First, they didn't get their way so they ran with their tails behind their legs... to the state that did exactly what they were accusing TX GOP of doing. Now, they're going on air begging their sheep to fork up their hard earned money so they can stay in luxury hotels in IL instead of doing their job in TX.
If you're unfamiliar with this... let me enlighten you.
GOP, majority, in TX congress voted to redistrict the state which favored GOP... The Dems, being minority, ran away to IL. Ironically, the state that these Dems ran to did the same thing. Illinois lost one Congressional seat due to population shifts following the 2020 Census. Illinois Democrats, who control the state legislature and the governorship, used the redistricting process to craft a map that eliminated two Republican-held seats while simultaneously creating an additional Democratic seat, shifting the delegation from 13 Democrats and 5 Republicans to 14 Democrats and 3 Republicans. When IL did that... I did not see any GOP running away from IL to argue against it. And this ain't the first time Leftie/Demmie politicians do this... They did the same in 2003 and 2021... which resulted in nothing accomplished for them and the other party got what they wanted. Waste of tax payers' money fighting like little children...
