Not so fast... some states will still tax you.

1 - States with no income tax does not tax your overtimes or tips.
     *AK, FL, NV, NH, SD, TN, TX, WA, WY

2 - States that required you to add your overtimes and tips back into your gross income for state tax.
     *CO, IL, ME, NY and most other state that has state income tax not listed here.

3 - States that had conformed to the Fed. deduction into their state income tax.
     *ID, IA, MT, ND, OR, SC, MI
