"I Found Her Riding Her 'Friend'": Men Share The Shocking Ways They Found Out About Their Wives' Affairs

"When I accidentally found her secret Yahoo IM name. MILF4U. That led me to check the chat logs, and that led to a divorce."

A while back, we wrote about men who found out their wives and girlfriends were cheating, and the responses ranged from absolutely gut-wrenching to shocking. Then more men shared their own stories. Here are the most interesting ones:
Some submissions are also from this Reddit roundup because they're just too good not to share.

1. "Being married and in love, working like a dog with two young children. I was, unfortunately, oblivious to the signs for years, until divorcees became her best friends. Her philandering became so rampant that she even brought me home an STI on one occasion, but I still did not get it! My suspicions finally turned to actions, surprise! I found multiple men's business cards hidden in our closet. After confronting her, she said she would never change, and I left that day. The cheating husband that she married eventually cheated on her many years later, and karma caught up with her. At the time, I was completely and utterly heartbroken! Until I met the right woman. That was 47 years ago."

2. "I seem to have a long history of being cheated on. #1 occurred way back in high school. My girlfriend was sleeping outside with a neighbor girl in her backyard. I decided to sneak up at midnight to scare them. When I got there, it wasn’t her friend who was spending the night with her under the stars. She was getting pounded by her friend’s older brother. That relationship ended right there."
"#2 My girlfriend was home from college for Christmas. She said she was going to go spend the night at her parents’ house. I was bored, so I decided to go to a movie I wanted to see. It was sci-fi, so I knew she wouldn’t want to see it. I went in, took a seat in the middle of the theater. As the lights dimmed right before the movie began, a couple hurried in and sat down in front of me. It was my girlfriend with a guy I recognized from her college. They were holding hands and being quite intimate. As the movie ended, I moved to a different seat, then followed them. They walked a few blocks to her father’s store. It was late, so it was closed. She unlocked the door, and they went in. The office lights upstairs turned on. I walked up a few levels in the parking garage across the street, where I had a lovely view of my soon-to-be ex-girlfriend, on the couch in the office, naked and enthusiastical ly riding her college friend. Adios!

#3 My live-in girlfriend came home in the morning after spending the previous day and night with a friend. She had a thin duffel bag for her clothes. She tossed it on the couch. When I sat down beside it, I felt a hard lump in it. I could even see its shape through the thin material of the duffel bag. Looked familiar. Reached in, pulled it out. Yep. Her diaphragm case. Opened it. Still messy and obviously recently used. Closed the case, and the case is closed. Goodbye.

#4 Living with my fiancé. She went out with her friends. Came home at 4 a.m. Immediately showered, which seemed a bit odd. Crawled into bed. I decided to make love. She seemed less than enthusiastic, but I proceeded anyway. Now, let me just say that from prior experiences, I was familiar with what 'sloppy seconds' feels like, and I was feeling it. Hard to explain exactly, but it’s definitely different. Less slippery, more slimy. Even a bit sticky. Thought maybe it was my imagination, but this was back before cell phones, so I checked the phone bill, and there were dozens of long-distance calls to a town 40 miles away. Dialed the number. Guy answered. 'Hello, Bill speaking.' Goodbye fiancé.

#5 New fiancé. Living together. She went to visit relatives in Tennessee for a week. Returned home and dumped her dirty clothes into the laundry basket. Her fanciest black barely-there lace panties were on top of the pile. And, well, let’s just say an impressive cream pie was quite evident in the crotch. I probed a little deeper and found three more pairs of especially sexy panties equally despoiled. Despite the odd choice of taking her sexiest panties for a trip to visit family in Tennessee, giving her the benefit of the doubt, I thought perhaps she had some sort of yeast infection. I happened to have a very powerful UV light for my work. Shone it on the laundry basket. Male cum glows under black light. Her panties lit up along with several stains on her jeans, even a bright blob on one sock. Guess she stepped in it. She must have had a lot of catching up to do with friends in Tennessee. Sent her packing.

There’s a #6 and #7, but I’m out of time."

3. "I was hanging out with my best friend and found out he was texting my girlfriend. He was under the impression we had broken up. The relationship was on the rocks, so I didn’t correct him. Later on, he asked me for my permission to date her, and she asked me separately to take a break. They dated for the next several years. Still have the best friend, but she cheated on him, too, while they were engaged. Funny enough, I caught her cheating on him because she was in line ahead of us at a local event, kissing the other guy."

4. "I found out after my girlfriend dumped me. All my friends were like, 'Well, that's what happens when you're in an open relationship with three other guys.' I was not in an open relationship, to my knowledge. Apparently, my girlfriend had told all my friends that we were open, so they knew about it and just assumed I was okay with it."

5. "The guy she was cheating on me with had a girlfriend. The girlfriend keyed my car by mistake. There was surveillance video everywhere, and the police solved it in less than an hour. The police broke the news to me. They were very cool about it."

6. "I got mobile phone bills over $700 for two months with a lot of less-than-one-minute calls to Scotland. She thought a call of less than one minute wouldn't show up on a bill. She'd call him and talk for 45 seconds, hang up, and call back. The irony is that the calls DIDN'T show up. An 'unconnected call charge' was on the bill. The phone company thought she was getting a message machine and was only charging the connection fee or something."

8. "I was buying a house at the time, and was touring one with the realtor. The homeowner came home early, and we got to talking. Turns out she worked with my girlfriend. I told her I was the boyfriend, and she said, 'Oh, so you are Tom! She told me all about you!' I am not Tom. The homeowner went to her car and got on her phone. Twenty minutes later, I got a call saying my girlfriend wanted to break up. Couldn't agree more. Never saw her again."

9. "We were in grad school. She went back to the sorority house because she wasn't feeling well. I finished some homework and turned on the TV to watch our college team play basketball. She was courtside with someone else."

10. "She was out of town for Christmas, and I was feeling suspicious as I went through the house. I found a giant card that used pet names for each other and talked about being soulmates. Obviously not from me. When she got home, I was working on something and walked out to see her get out of an RV with someone I didn’t know. She insisted it was nothing. And, while suspicious, I decided to wait to see if she would tell me more. Two weeks later, she tells me she’s working. Later on in the day, complete silence. Can’t get a hold of her. I’m beginning to panic. I look at the GPS location. She’s 200 miles away in a resort town with hot springs. I keep trying to contact her. Nothing."
"The next day, I demand the truth. She tells me her work asked her to pick something up, she invited a 'friend,' and 'nothing happened.' Yeah. Right. The first time she kissed someone else years ago, or when she told people we were in an open relationship (we're not), I should have been done. At this point. I just want her to acknowledge the truth. I know I’ll never get it. I’m devastated. I put far too much of my soul and life into her hands, and she crushed it."

11. "Positive test for chlamydia. I found this out just days after she dumped me (I was tested before the breakup). I was faithful to her, and two doctors confirmed that there's only one way to get chlamydia, so in this case, cheating was biologically obvious. She said she was clean prior to meeting me, and I realized she could have had it for years with no symptoms, but I'd been having unprotected sex with her long enough, where the doctor said I'd have started showing symptoms earlier if I'd have contracted it earlier."
"I'm still pretty bitter about it, but I shouldn't be. The STI is gone, and it's kinda funny how science so simply confirmed gut feelings that I'd had for months."

13. "She went down to Florida for a weekend with her best friend. She mentioned she had an ex-boyfriend down there, but they weren't going to meet up. I picked her up from the airport after her weekend getaway. We didn't talk the whole car ride home. That's how I knew."

14. "I was in a 14-year marriage. I was up in the NC mountains doing a 105-mile bike race. It was the hardest race I had ever done, but I placed really high in the main field. My wife was supposed to pick me up at my friend's when we got back. I called her phone over and over to let her know my results and when we were going to return. She never answered. My buddy took me home. My youngest daughter was there alone, telling me that she had been trying to call her mom but couldn't get in touch with her. She then went on to say that she even called the friend her mother was supposed to be with, but she told her that she knew nothing about it."
"When my wife finally came home, she made some shit excuse. But I confronted her, and she confessed. She was cheating for two years behind my back. Even had the guy over while I was gone to work. I've been single for four years now. Happy as ever. Daughters live with me. Ex-wife is still with the same guy. Four years after our marriage. Two years into our marriage. So they have had a good run."

16. "I found out at her aunt's funeral. I live in Ohio, she lived in Pennsylvania with her mom. We were in a long-distance relationship for a few years. Anyway, her aunt passes, I take time off work and drive myself and her cousin to PA to attend the funeral. We arrive at her aunt's house, where all of her family from out of town were meeting and staying for the funeral the next day. There is a guy there that she is hugging when I walk in the door. She tells me not to worry, he's her cousin, and she hasn't seen him in a couple of years. No worries, I tell her, I understand."
"Fast forward to the next day, at the funeral home. She is being distant and basically ignoring and avoiding me, but every time I find her, she is with this guy that is supposedly her cousin. I chalk it up to her being upset; she was close to her aunt. I go out to my car to grab something from the glove box, and there I find her, giving her 'cousin' head in the backseat of my car. So, not only did she cheat on me, she cheated on me with someone she told me was her cousin, in the parking lot of the funeral home, at her aunt's funeral, in the backseat of my car."

17. "Found a receipt for minutes purchased for a phone on a network we didn't use. Found the phone a few hours later. Found the texts detailing just how much she liked having his d*ck in her mouth. Found out I was strong enough to kick out the mother of my children, with whom I'd spent two decades, become a kick-ass single dad, and take back my life. Found out I remembered how to have fun, live a good life, and have a lot of fun dating. Found out I hadn't lost the ability to love. Found an amazing woman and a great life."

18. "I spent the night at her place. Something was awry with her. We had sex and went to bed. We woke up, and she went to take a shower. The weird thing was that she powered down her phone while in bed, took it with her, and charged it in the living room... okay, something is up. She gets in the shower. I turn on the phone and find her sexting and sending photos to another dude. Doesn't seem like things are happening yet, but they are planned. I text him and say, 'Hey bro, not mad at you, but she has a boyfriend'... he says 'Ohh f*ck lol' and nothing else. She turns off the shower. I crack the door, and ask, 'So who's...?' She says, 'F*ck.' I left."

She was writing me multiple letters a week, sending me pictures, etc. One day, I got a letter from my mom that basically explained that she had gone over to visit my girlfriend one day and found her on her front porch banging some dude... that sucked."

22. "I completed work early, so my boss sent me home. Opened the front door to her sitting on a dude's lap. 'Watcha doin', dear?' I asked politely and calmly. She looked at me and said, 'Nothing,' and smiled. To which I replied, 'Nothing better go home before I break him in two.' Dude scrambled out my door, and my girlfriend tried to explain that it wasn't cheating as I collected her things and threw her out in the street."

Women are now more open about their sexual inclinations and have
spoken publicly about such things. "We, of course, have feelings, too,"
said one expert on public radio.

Men haven't opened our minds to observe life enough. If we did,
we'd know there are always two persons of interest in any voluntary sexual
endeavor.
