The University of Cincinnati has filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit against former quarterback Brendan Sorsby, demanding a $1 million buyout payment following his transfer to Texas Tech. The lawsuit claims Sorsby violated an 18-month NIL agreement that included a penalty clause for transferring before its completion, which ran through Dec. 15, 2026.
