Why toilet paper is likely about to get more expensive
The ongoing trade war between the U.S. and Canada will hit paper products, including toilet paper, the hardest. The items were included on the list of nearly 900 American goods that will face 25% - 50% tariffs starting on Sept. 8, The Guardian reported.

U.S. toilet paper and facial tissue exports face a 25% duty. Exports of paper towels, napkins and raw chemical wood pulp face a 50% duty. Some of that increase will likely be passed on to consumers.
