6 + quart is quite a bit for a 2.5

..liter 4 cylinder engine...I changed the oil in our Euro car and was surprised it takes more oil than my 4.0 liter V6 Taco...6.3 quarts vs. 5.5 quarts... :o

Never liked these oil filters but it is what it is...
