Kids back in Laos used to play hide-and-seek in the dark. Whomever the seeker first found had to be brought to the bonfire in order to show who it really was.
After a few rounds, a boy seeker felt another hider behind a shrub. But he also was feeling slimes and stickiness on the body. So, he brought the "person" to the bonfire for a good look.
Everyone screamed and fled the minute they saw a hairy black figure that was just stuck to the sitting log.
