"A Descent to Streets: Craig Coyner Craig Coyner was not alone in losing stable housing in Bend, Ore. But his story was unique: He was once the city's mayor. N.Y.C.'s Housing Voucher Program: Some renters in the city are being inexplicably cut off the program, which is a crucial tool for stemming homelessness."

Nice little city with plenty of natural scenery around when I was there. That's where White guys fueled up my autos and clean the windshield:

Same here, been a couple of years now but this what I found on the net:

"New Jersey is the only state in the U.S. that doesn't allow customers to pump their own gas — anywhere. There's always an attendant on duty to pump gas for customers at these full-service stations. Oregon is the only other state besides New Jersey with a full-service law. Oct 22, 2022"

I still trips over the fact that Wisconsin is a pump first and pay later.

What if I only have $20 but forgot to stop and total was $50?  How to take gas back?

Depends. Drive-offs get prosecuted since they have your license plate on camera. That's typical.

I forgot my wallet one time and I was able to drive home to get it. It helps if the workers know you though.
