Quote
In December 2025, Wisconsin deputies from the Door County Sheriff's Office pulled over a driver who was using a handheld flashlight pointed forward as a makeshift headlight after being stopped for speeding; while the driver was trying to improve visibility, the department noted it was neither a safe nor legal replacement for a proper headlight, leading to potential citations, though the outcome for the driver wasn't detailed in the initial reports.
