A Florida deputy in St. Lucie County accidentally locked their keys and equipment inside a patrol SUV. Unable to get back in, they accepted on-the-spot help from a local civilian wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and sandals, who effortlessly used a slim-jim tool to pop the door open.

Why the internet loved it:The Irony: Social media users immediately seized on the humor of police officers—who typically stop break-ins—needing to rely on someone who looked capable of performing one with startling ease.

The Viral Video: The awkward but helpful interaction went viral on platforms like Instagram and X, racking up thousands of views and plenty of jokes about a "Florida Man" saving the day.
