..a lot of things happening.. been doing a lot of thinking..
Finally talked to my mom.. A real and meaningful convo.. I'm over the past now. Will work on the other relationships but that might take awhile. I'm in no rush to mend those.
My brother volunteered to serve in Afghanistan. I'm not surprised.. Just wish him well. We took him to dinner last night and it was good for the most part. Was missing a few people but that was cos they wasn't invited. Didn't really get the chance to talk to him much but I guess he's not engaged anymore. He's too young anyways.
Went in to work and talked to the big boss. Things might not roll out the way I want but things will eventually fall into place. What's lined up isn't that bad. The campus looks horrible tho. Student tests scores also came in and for one, I'm content. For the other, I have some questions. I know the scores are not accurate. I need to find out their plan.
Legal matters suck. I'm mad.. but that's nothing new.
..I've allowed myself to take a step back this summer.. so gotta do some thinking.. and self-regulation..
