No, I have nothing left my lady.
I gave up the hope a long time ago because of prejudice or racism.
Hmong ppl always talk about other race of being racist, but we are one of the mos racist ppl ourselves.  So, since the person my poems are dedicated to is a Thai, I ended my dream of having her by my side that many years ago already.

I do miss her more than ever.  It's just that we'll never have a chance of reuniting again.

The memory of her is the one that occupies my mind and my heart every minute.  I have moved on.  However, it's impossible to forget the person who taught me to be the better person whom I am today.  She's kind, compassionate, humble, and makes love the ultimate gratification in life.

I believe that love, especially the kind of love you have.... is within you.  Whether it is to be given to her or to another, it is a love that comes within you.  If you don't have it in you, you would not have been able to recognize her love and to respond to it. 

It's one thing to remember her and appreciate what she have taught you, but to live your life so consumed with her love and memory that it occupies your life and your thoughts every minute, you are doing an injustice to the one who NOW loves  you.

I don't know any other way to handle this cause if I  make the one that loves me happy I'd be sad, and if I let my memory controls my life than it's not fair to the one that loves me.

So, by being happily lost in memory, what do you gain and how does it benefit ur life now?  What does it take away?


If you make the one who loves you happy, what are you really losing?  Will you really forget the one you love?  Chances are, NO.  They are your memories and no one can take that away.

If you make the one who loves you happy, you would be sad?  Why would you  be sad?  The greatest thing this other person did for you was to love you so much that you are happy... wouldn't it be an honor to her if you take that Love and make someone else happy?  And when you make someone happy and FEEL loved and cherish, doesn't that make YOU happy?
