Some traders worst days have come after their best - therefore never allow your confidence to exceed your skills

Mind management - clear focus - clear head

The best traders learn to lose, because its part of the game.

Learn everything possible from people that are already successful, follow the rules reasoning they share.

For success, one must raise the level of one's expectation.

"No matter what is happening, I will be absolute discipline to my trading plan"

That is my only expectation.

David Nassar on Exiting.

Doing the right thing may not seem easy at first, but once you form the habit of cutting losses quickly, it becomes quite routine and very gratifying.  Taking the devil's advice will prove very damaging very fast, but in time you will not hear from him anymore.

Thanks to my friend and mentor Toni Turner

Center Point 1: The power of commitment
Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectivenes s.  Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves, too.  All sort of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.  A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would come his way. - W. H. Murray (Climbed Mt. Everest)

Center Point 2: Empower your personal beliefs
Your potential is unlimited.  Aspire to a high place.  Believe in your abilities, in your tastes, in your own judgment.  Imagine and perceive that which you wish to be.  Back your image with enthusiasm and courage.  Feel the reality of your "new" self; live in the expectancy of greater things and your subconscious will actualize them. - Brian Adams

Center Point 3: Your Vision: Life's Invitation to Greatness
What would you do if you knew you could not fail? - Dr. Robert Schuller

Center Point 4: Extend your reach
The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond them, to the impossible. - Arthur C. Clarke

Center Point 5: The Miracle of giving
He who loves others is constantly loved by them.  He who respects others is constantly respected by them.  - Mencius (4th-3rd Century, BCE)

Center Point 6: Coincidence or Synchronicity?
The basics of belief in synchronicity are that every single life has a purpose and a deeper meaning than we are generally aware of.  Behind all form is an intelligence that is exquisitely perfect, and that works in synchronized fashion.  Everything happens for a purpose, and the puzzle pieces of life fit together perfectly.  When you trust and know these thoughts, you will daily recognize evidence for your belief in synchronicity. -  Dr. Wayne Dyer

Center Point 7: Detachment, Pathway to Freedom
Anything you want be acquired through detachment, because detachment is based on the unquestioning belief in the power of your true self.  - Deepak Chopra, MD

Center Point 8:  The Power of Intuition
It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.   - Saint-Exupery

Center Point 9:  Practice Healthy Selfishness
Do you want to be a power in the world?  Then be yourself.  Be true to the highest within your soul and then allow yourself to be governed by no customs or conventionalit ies or arbitrary man-made rules that are not founded on principles. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Center Point 10:  Release the Past
People are always blaming circumstances for what they are.  I do not believe in circumstances.  The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they cannot find them, make them. - George Bernard Shaw

Center Point 11:  Create a Prosperity Consciousness
You are an expression of the infinite creative flow, the infinite creative process.  You have everything you need to achieve a life of abundance.  You only need access it by claiming your entitlement from within.  Know that you are a center within an affluent universe, and guidance, ingenuity, and opportunities await you. - Eric Butterworth

Center Point 12: The truth about Fear
Begin difficult things while they are easy, do great things when they are small.  The difficult things of the world must once have been easy; the great things must once have small... a thousand mile journey begins with one step. - Lao Tzu

Center Point 13: Live consciously, Succeed Miraculously!
Follow your heart, your dreams, your desires.  Do what your soul calls you to do, whatever it is, and allow it be be finished; then you will go on to another adventure. - Ramtha

The day I started trading from my head, and not my heart, I started making money consistently, trade after winning trade.

First Commandment: Protect your capital
Second Commandment:  Trade to trade well (not to make money)

I returned to trading about 4 years ago.  I use to be a market maker on NASD, and I left on negative terms.   I knew how to make markets, and thought I was a very good trader.  I changed my strategy and didn't put in the required work to make that change work.  I experienced so much inconsistency and negative emotions.   I thought I would have an edge when re-entering trading years later.

It just occurred to me that my history actually delayed my ability to trade successfully.  A couple of reasons.
1.  I was still carrying a biased that I knew enough to win, when I didn't.
2.  I was carrying the pain of my past losses and fears.

That was why it took much longer for me than someone new to learn to trade effectively.

I now finally have a tested system, and I am finally understanding the markets the way it needs to be understood.  Thank you for the long journey.

Forgiveness

The best way to release the past is to forgive....for give ourselves and those people and situations that hurt us.  Just as our bodies heal physical bruises, our inner self wants to heal emotional injuries.  We heal by releasing those injuries.  We release by forgiving.
To forgive, we face the matter and own it.  We acknowledge that the negative energy we've carrying around no longer serves us.  We choose to leave the situation behind and, in doing so, we forgive.
Forgiveness is a gift to ourselves.  It release us from the past, fills our lives iwth positive emotions, and frees us to shape an abundant, successful tomorrows.   - Toni Turner

Buy Low, sell high works well in real estate.  It rarely works as well in the stock market, especially in short-term trades.  Remember when you choose a stock to buy, it's like choosing players for your ball team.  You don't want to choose a guy with a broken arm, or the girl who's clumsy.  You choose the strongest people available to make a winning team.  When you're trading, you choose the strongest stocks to make winning profits. - Toni Turner

A thought + a feeling => action     - Psyc 101?

I didn't know this.  It took T Harv Eker to tell me this.

My most formidable enemy in Trading:  My emotions. (Therefore no matter what is happening, my best response will be calm, cool, and absolute discipline to my trading rules and plan.

Thanks for the signal in APKT, however if I had kept a Swing eye on it, I would never have entered the order.  My third question before entering a trade will be.

Did the stock recently came from a bollinger band in the direction of which I want to trade?  This is vital for determining strength for longs and weakness for shorts......

From Toni Turner's book:

First, imagine a thought plus a feeling, minus the action-especially if the action relates to pleasure.  Thought: I've had a long day at work, and a beer would taste good before dinner.  Automatically, you imagine a frosty mug filled with the golden elixir, a foamy top.  Feelings: pleasure.  Your mouth anticipates the taste of cool, refreshing, robust liquid.  Gratification flows through you at the feeling of relaxation that always follows and reward for a long day.  Action: Yes, you'll have a beer.  You reach into the refrigerator-but there's no beer.  Rats.  Now your feelings of expected pleasure turn to irritation.  Thought, plus a feeling, minus the desired action.
That's how we humans are built.  We think of something, qualify it with feelings, and carry thorough with action (or inaction).  I'm out of bee(thought), disappointment 9feeling), so you go (or decide not to go) to the store (action).

This thought and action seeking comfort in disappointment is very detrimental to trading.  It has nothing to do with success in trading.
