Anyone remember Apple when they first started it and how it took off to when they kick Steve Job out of his company.
It went down fast, to the point where there was only 6 weeks of payroll left. Steve Job came and save the company, brought it back to life, Do you think it will fail again without Steve Job? iphone and ipad can only last so long before they start getting olds and better technology start coming out.

I remember when windows was just windows 3.1. Then it went to win95 then Nt then 98 then 2000 then xp then is it 7?  Man there was so many windows platform. 

I think apple back in the day was apple Macintosh.  I remember something like that. And it was a rainbow apple with the bite in it.

Also, another big computer player back in the day was radio shacks very own Tandy line of computers.  3.5 disk drives were the newest thing and a floppy drive of I thi k 5.25 in or something gone that was common.

You forgot to mention windows ME and Vista two of the greatest operating system ever created.

Jobs made Apple take off, then they booted him out, then he founded NexT, then bought Pixar, then Apple buys NeXT, Steve Job becomes big boss.

Most company have their hot items that will probably never die unless they totally just eff up and not care. iPhones, iPads, and iPods are the top sellers for Apple. Microsoft got lazy with thier  Windows Mobile years back and havent recovered since. Microsoft makes more money from their games. funny how both companies are profiting more outside of the PC/Mac. iPhones, iPads, and iPods will continue to be popular just as the XBox will continue to be popular.

You guys forget, Steve Jobs bought Pixar for 10Million and then got Disney to buy it for over $7.4 Billion and effectively made Jobs the decision maker at Disney. Wow.

I remember the Apple IIE.  You could program in BASIC or LOGO.  You had Oregon Trail and Number Muncher.

I remember I wanted a IIE so bad but couldn't afford it since it was over $1,000 of dollars and my poor parents couldn't justify buying me one so I would get time on the computer at the library.

Oh the good ole days.
