Collection agents will go away if you write them a letter to tell them to back off. It must be in writing, not just orally over the phone.
But I understand the persistence you are referring to. True, they wouldn't give up and they don't take rejections personally.
But she's no collection agent. She probably lets her own feelings drive her instead of reasons and laws. I have no induced her, and yet she insists that I can't live without her when that's not true. I'm not even seeking her out. I'm not even interested in getting any more text, call or picture message from her. Is she too proud of herself?
Her actions are very disrespectful. Earlier today (11.10.15), the anonymous source informed me that the stalker plans to be in town through "Thanksgiving" new year and thinks that she can win me from any other girl I may be dating since I'm not married yet.
I understand persistence does succeed in many endeavors. But this case seems to be her temerity rather than a try, try-again-until-succeeding kind of thing. She isn't going to succeed here.
I have fought a case similar to this for a client before, and I know what type of person she seems to be. A new arrival from Thamkrabok with the old-fashioned mentality of chasing a man for a husband...even to be a second or third wife.
If ultimately the restraining order has to be issued, she could be sent to seminars for rehab programs.
Maybe she secretly works for a collection agency.....I've heard they can be persistent as well.
