Rivers set NFL record

With 25 completed pass. Previously held by Mark Brunell with 22 and Rich Gannon with 21. That’s really hard to do.

Ryan Tannahill did it too (25 straight completed passes) but he did it in two games...

Meh, 25 consecutive completed pass is 25 consecutive completed pass... ;D:

Ryan Tannehill breaks NFL record for consecutive pass completions

While the Miami Dolphins were lighting up the scoreboard Sunday in a 44-26 win against the Texans, quarterback Ryan Tannehill was busy breaking some individual records.

Not only did he become the first player in the last 15 years to throw three touchdown passes of 50 or more yards in a half, but he also set a much more significant record.

Tannehill completed his first 18 passes of the game, which gave him 25 straight completions going back to last week’s win against the Titans. That set a new NFL record for consecutive completions.

Philip Rivers Ties Ryan Tannehill's NFL Record for Consecutive Completions

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers began Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals by completing each of his first 25 pass attempts to tie an NFL record for completions in a row.

While he threw an incompletion on his 26th pass, he matched Ryan Tannehill's effort from 2015, per Greg Beacham of the Associated Press.
