Back in the late 80's, some of my older brothers, cousins, and friends love this place and I also participated a couple of times with them just to see what's up.

Basically, you just cold call by knocking on the door unless there's some Hmong ritual stuff hanging by the front door. When they open the door, you should still ask, is your home restricted (Nej puas caiv) anyways?

If there's no restrictions to enter then you ask if their single daughters are home and go from there...

Sometimes there's already other dudes there so you just join in...and take turn chatting with the girl(s)...

I was never a big fan of this Hmong looking for girl/dating system after participating in it a couple of times but it was what it was...

Anyways, back in the 80s, this apartment complex was a hot spot for this Hmong dating system because Hmong live in just about every unit if not all and there were many young single Hmong girls but it's pretty much run by Messicans now as I did not see a single Hmong person there  ;D:

Had a friend who attended uop, when I visited in 93, took me here to see a gal. Was a very ghetto place so I’ve never came back. Many Hmong families live in the ghetto back then.

Doubt it as the only thing you were picking up is your master Trump and other dudes...No wonder hmgROCK posted that intimate photo of him plugging you from behind in a sit down position.. ;D

BV in Fresno?

is that Farmington near hwy 99 in Stockton?  ??? I've never been there before but heard of it as an infamous Hmong ground back in the days only because it was next to the freeway and u could see it from there

Yep, "Farmington", the K-Mart behind it is gone too as well as the Hmong Lo?? store in that same shopping complex...Now it's just a gas station and a couple of taco trucks...

The girls that live in that apartment complex were known as the "Farmington Girls"...back in the days and yes easy access off of 99... ;D

word?

I know the daughter be making my papaya salad.   I think she knows I'm only there to talk to her.  Once she sees me, it is like a good wife, getting your stuff ready for the position.   :2funny:

Thought they were remodeling the place or perhaps the place got torched on purpose to collect the insurance money like many mama papa failed businesses out there.

Homicide, that's sux

I believe this is the case of that killing  ???:

Quote
STOCKTON - A longtime leader and respected advocate for Southeast Asian refugees was killed early Wednesday evening, shot in the head outside his north Stockton office as he was leaving work.

Pheng Lo, 59, came to the United States as a refugee himself.

He moved to Stockton in the 1980s and for more than 20 years had led the Lao Family Community organization, which offers help with health, education and other social services.

According to a report from the Stockton Police Department, officers were called around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to 2701 E. Hammer Lane, where Lao Family Community offices are located.

What about Stockton? I see our Hmongs including my cousins living in apartments like these. I first came to California since 1990. I wonder to myself why California was so darn blazing, scorning hot.

I lived in the apartments close to Yosemite middle school.  One time a hmong family was using propane to cook and it blew up.  Apartments caught on fire lol.  Shit was crazy lol.
