...and other some other countries sadly as I've seen enough of these cases:

Quote
Vietnamese pastor released four years after arrestPastor A Dao belongs to one of several unregistered churches in Vietnam

Like many Montagnard and Hmong churches in Vietnam, the church was unregistered. In Vietnam, unregistered churches and religious organizations are subject to harassment, arrest, and destruction. "The churches often refuse to register to maintain their religious independence and autonomy as Vietnam exercises a high degree of control over registered churches and restricts their beliefs and practices," ADF explained. Pastor A Dao's imprisonment took place against a background of religious persecution of Christians by the Vietnamese government.

I don't blame the Hmong peeps over there. They didn't know they don't have to open up a church to believe in God. Jesus is everywhere.  ;D

Montagnard

grew up hearing my dad talking chit about all viets in america that behaves like savages.

I heard about them before I even know what a hmong is.

It is like the white people calling other white people as hillbilly and rednecks.

Thought my dad was just using a fighting term but it actually turns out to be a real tribe of people living in vietnam.

After 25 years later is when I first saw what they looked like by watching them trackers in vietnam youtube videos.  I happened to ran into that name by accident and my long term memory just connected and I had to find out for myself to who and what them people are all about.

I don't think they are hmong and I don't hear you hmong be talking about them either.
