This is the first time U.S. honors were presented to a Hmong general who fought on the side of the U.S. during the Vietnam War. Col. Wangyee Vang, who helped put the spotlight on Lao and Hmong veterans who fought in the "Secret War," was honored in a traditional three-day funeral in Fresno that started Saturday.

Vang died Jan. 18 at age 74. He was honored in Fresno at the Faith Community Religious Facility, while simultaneously recognized at a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.

Idk, that guy in white should of gotten a better shoe to wear though.  Just my opinion.

Saw that too but then again, he's White dude going to a mostly Hmong event so he may have forgotten that Hmong don't wear flip flop sandals as much as like when he fought with them back in Laos anymore.. ???
