Covid Vaccines and Covid-19 Today
« on: April 20, 2021, 12:45:04 PM »
I always take COVID-19 seriously and have lost dearly beloved people to the virus.  However, after I got my covid vaccines, I do feel more comfortable venturing out and yes still w/ mask on.  I don't know if this virus will ever go away... so taking day by day, months by months, and soon year by year.

Anyway, do you feel more comfortable venturing outside now that more and more people are getting vaccinated compare to last year?

I got my second one last week.  The soreness, wasn't as bad as the first one.  But later that night, while sleeping, I could feel the chills.  I'm good now.  Still wearing mask whenever I go.

I continue to wear mask and practice social distance..at least until we hit herd.

As long as your vaccines and card are "legit", it's all good. Way better than fake blank ones:

I don't know if we'll ever reach herd because we're not all promoting the same thing and vaccine immunity is only lasting 6-8 months (from my research).

I, too, have gotten both of my covid vaccine shots now.  But I am still and will continue to wear a mask everywhere I go, until covid is 100% behind us.  We don't know when that will be.

But, I do feel a sigh of relief having been inoculated now... however, there are many variants and strains of covid, so, it's always good to be vigilant and stay cautious, to be safe.
