..i.e., Crescent City, Eureka and Humboldt on the coast to the Shasta and Lassen areas of North-west California seemed peaceful when we visited:

Not too many tall modern buildings in those areas. I think the tallest one we saw was about five story high. However, they do have some old big Victorian type of mansion:

I like everything but only on a sunny day

been watching too many monster movies where the opening scene is like that.  All gloomy with an overcast

Been burnt too many times during the summer when it was hot as heck in the valley and driving to the ocean, expecting for sunshine but getting that kind of overcasting weather.  Did not even bring a light jacket either.  Too many times bra.   :2funny:

I hear some other folks say that too but I like the SF weather especially on the coast side. I call it the "Goldilocks Principle"... ;D
