I knew someone that needed $2,500 deductible in order to afford insurance coverage for his auto. If he goes below that, the monthly premium would be too high and he wouldn't be able to afford that. In his case, he has to be really careful driving as well as parking his auto because an at fault collision and/or a comprehensive claim could hurt his wallet badly..
