I'm not against hiring and appointing people of other race, sex or religion to different position... but it has to be base on merit.

Uh... I hate the practice of Diversity quota... not the diverse people. If you have an once of a brain, you'll understand the difference. One of the best manager I've worked for is a black man, highly educated, articulate and great teacher. I've had a woman boss that was very patient, kind and helpful... I've also worked for a white boss that was a POS. Again, it's about merit... not for the sake of 'diversity' just to make mandated quota to not get sued.
