you don't need to do "bad stuff"...you have a choice to go to a school where you feel you can get the best education. 
some of these parents who are ill advised and/or opt to send their kids to "zip code" schools are doing it out of convenience.

liberals wants you to stay within your zip codes because they want you to stay "dumb", lack of a better term.

no, it's not necessary college...scho ol choice is quite popular in many districts, as a matter of fact...it is encouraged and supported by parents and legislatures.
