Only a fool would believe such a thing...
The goat is only associated with the devil because of it's mischievous behavior... nothing in the Bible says a goat is an evil animal and should be avoided.

But since you brought up this 'idol' idea, the Bible says that we are to not make image of anything in heaven, on earth or in water to worship. Anything that takes the form of God in your heart is a form of idol... not just statue but money, power, relationship, career, celebrities, sport team, etc. etc.
