When it comes to relationships I am a builder. I want a love relationship that is going to bear fruit because it's those fruits that will keep the partnership going and create loyalty after the limerence feelings fade. In other words, I want someone who is going to be in it for the long haul and continue to show up after the honeymoon phase. That doesn't mean that you stop feeling for them.
Anyways, I can pretty much tell who is a builder and has it in them to endure a long-lasting commitment. Chemistry and compatibility doesn't cut it.
NOT GOING TO GIVE AWAY MY SECRETS OF HOW I KNOW. DON'T NEED THE PH PLAYERS AND AVOIDANTS TO USE THIS INFORMATION FOR THEIR ADVANTAGE.
Most modern men are "spenders" and not "builders". What that means is that they want a relationship for the companionship only. They want your time and your body, but they want it at a consistency because they don't want to have to constantly try to woo a woman just to get those two things. So wouldn't it be great to have a girlfriend who will give those things without actually having to be married?
Even when they do get married, it's still just for the sake of companionship. Then it's like DuMa said, "what are we doing here? What are we doing with each other now that we're married?"
All the married couples I know who are still together after almost divorcing over legit serious issues, such as infidelity (financial, physical, emotional, and so on), all said the same thing.
They stayed for the fruits that came from the marriage. Those are not easy things to just give up because they are your fruits, they are your life, and they are you.
