Credit score took a little hit but no more of those debts feels good though... O0

Too bad we can't go back to the old ways where your word is your credit score.

My FIL missed those days when he lived in Iowa back in the 60s.

He told me that back in the 60s in that Iowa town he lives in, trust, integrity and credibility were huge and the whole town goes by it. If someone didn't have enough money for their groceries, the store just trust their customers to make up for it the next they come back to shop.

Words hold a lot of weight.

Having some debt and making regular installment payments on a timely basis can help positively impact your FICO score.

However, having too much debt can negatively impact it.
