Sure he's ESL but he got his message through...

Shohei Ohtani sends English message to Dodgers fans
The Los Angeles Dodgers became the first team since 2000 to win back-to-back World Series, and Shohei Ohtani is already thinking about a Dodgers three-peat, looking to equal the 2000 New York Yankees.

Ohtani slashed .333/.500/.778 in the World Series. He had a .940 OPS in the postseason and was a key part of the Dodgers’ second straight World Series victory. He also made four starts on the mound, going six innings in three of them. He did not win World Series MVP, but he showcased why the Dodgers paid him so much.

Ohtani has now won a World Series in his first two seasons with the Dodgers. He is likely going to win another MVP but remains focused on continuing the team’s winning ways. During the Dodgers’ championship celebration, he delivered a message to Dodgers fans in English.

“I want to say I’m so proud of this team, and you guys are the greatest fans in the world. I’m ready to get another ring next year,” Ohtani said while the crowd erupted.

Ohtani usually uses a translator for media sessions and interviews. However, he took the moment to deliver the message on his own.

Yep, I watched the whole series... all due to Ohtani and Yamamoto. I have written them off in game 7 after trailing 4-1 but they came back - miraculously with great defense and pitching. I kinda wish Roki Sasaki was more involved but the Dodgers used him as best they could. When he can control his throws better, he'll be a starter for sure...
