Domino's offering discount code after viral Idaho delivery driver went above and beyond
Dan Simpson has been a Domino's delivery driver for more than 10 years, but recently went viral for his dedication to the perfect delivery.

What started as a normal Friday night in Boise, chock-full of pizza orders, Simpson noticed an order was incomplete. A couple had ordered a two-liter bottle of Diet Coke, but that particular Domino's location was out of it. Simpson decided to go out of his way, stopping at a nearby store to pick up that item for the couple.

The Boise-based couple was so amazed at Simpson's desire to go above and beyond, they gave him a hefty tip. But Brian Wilson, one half of the couple, knew there was more they could do. So Wilson began a GoFundMe.

"We were honestly blown away. That level of care and kindness is rare these days," said Wilson on the GoFundMe.

Wilson and Simpson connected over the following days, with Simpson sharing that delivery driving has been his second job for some time, as he prepares to retire. Wilson knew that this GoFundMe was the perfect way to support Simpson's desire to retire, and so did the community.

Not only did the GoFundMe quickly hit its goal, but the story went viral.

Now, the story finds a new angle: a nationwide discount code.

Domino's and Coca-Cola were so inspired by Simpson's story that they are opening up a discount code.

From April 30 through May 3, Domino's stores across the country will honor Simpson by giving customers a free 20oz Coca-Cola beverage when they order online and use the code "DANTHEMAN".
