Democrat governor refused...
« on: Today at 10:39:58 AM »
Governor Josh Shapiro announced that Pennsylvania would not officially participate in the Great American State Fair, citing the event's ties to the Trump administration and a lack of business interest. "It reflects this sad state of affairs that we find ourselves in — that the president has politicized this to a degree that businesses don't want to participate."- Shapiro. How petty can a person be... I bet he didn't even talk to any businesses except those that are Leftie/Demmie owned.

However, a bipartisan effort was launched by Democratic Senator (John Fetterman) and a GOP Senator (Dave McCormick) to organize a privately funded Pennsylvania pavilion at the Great American State Fair on the National Mall, ensuring the Commonwealth was still represented during America's 250th birthday celebration.

They assembled a coalition of private organizations—including the PA Chamber, PennAg, the PA Farm Bureau, the NFIB and the Pennsylvania Manufacturers' Association—to fund and build the Pennsylvania display entirely through private partnerships, without relying on taxpayer dollars.

"Celebrating America's 250th birthday and Pennsylvania's special role in our country is important and bipartisan. We discovered our Commonwealth wasn't participating in the Great American State Fair on the National Mall, and we should be. We are now making sure Pennsylvania's booth will highlight the Commonwealth's agriculture dominance, our businesses and what makes PA a truly awesome and historic place."- Fetterman.  Fetterman has increasingly bucked his own party on various issues and has faced some pushback from Democrats for standing on the side of "America's side and on democracy" during these milestone events.

"Pennsylvania is where America's story began, and there was no way we were going to let the Commonwealth go unrepresented during our Nation's 250th birthday celebration. As the birthplace of American independence, home to the hallowed grounds of Gettysburg and the engine for the arsenal of democracy, Pennsylvania has a special responsibility to preserve, celebrate and share that enduring legacy." - McCormick

Too bad majority of Leftie/Demmie don't see it that way... all they see is TRUMP and their TDS flares up, their common sense shrink to zero while their hatred overflows to SM, MSM... you see it on TikTok, YT, Instagram, Reddit, etc. etc.

NOTE: my family actually landed at JFK in NYC and our first home in America was in Philly...
